    33inch problem

    Hi guys,and Gals
    I have a 94 Disco which is to be used soley as a weekend trip car.
    I have fitted 33 inch silverstone tyres, copy of the Simex. At the time of fitting I also ordered a set of Dynamic rims which did not arrive. So the tyre dealler fitted to the standard rims, After a bit of trimming with the angle grinder all seemed ok except on full lock when the tyres foul on the lower control arms. Can any one tell me what offset rims I would need to correct this, Also is there an alternative to fitting flexi flares. They look good but seem quite exspensive.

    Just get some clark rubber guards, 6m will do the whole car (plus a bit left over).

    Should be able to get it for ~100 for the lot. Depending on the offset wheels you go, it might not be enough width for 33s though.

    the deal was struck through flat dog I think it was.
