Smile Discovery series 1 seat base foam.

I have 98 Disco and the seat base foam is breaking down! I have noticed that Craddocks and Exmoor in England have them for sale. Has anybody purchased or know of a supplier in Australia?

Failing that a good value aftermarket seat??

Here in Argentina one of my Discofriends let make this piece of foam to a trim repair shop. Usually this kind of shop copies the original shape and uses the same foam density but, they cut the shape instead of mould it.
    The final result was ok.
May be You can try this in Australia too.
I hope my spelling is understandable

You would be surprised at the cost of that part (or any for a D1) at the moment from a dealer as LR have reduced a lot of parts for the D1 & D2 .
No harm in ringing to see?

    Cheers

A common fault after so long...

Mine was sagging a few months back...I cured it by taking the seat out, inverting it and lacing a heap of standard short bungee's under tension across from each side of the seat frame/base....in effect replacing the rubber strapping that breaks down over time...worked a treat and I have been to Morocco and back without anymore sign of any sagging at all...

    Just say'in like...
