    Mechanic near Heidelberg Melbourne

    I'm looking at Disco IIs at the moment and will want an expert to give me a report before I buy. Any recommendations for someone in my part of the world?

    Les Richmond Automotive in Thomastown may be the closest / best bet for LR, do not know if they do prepurchase inspections but a phone will answer that.

    RACV will do a reasonable job for around $260, you (or seller) can take the car to their (many) approved workshops or they also can come to you.

    The most local "expert" to you is Lance Dixon in Doncaster, or alternatively, though not local, is AMV or Ritter for a pre-purchase inspection.

    Anthony at British 4WD Imports is supposed to be very good. Given me plenty of good advice, but hasn't actually done any work for me yet. Located in Montrose.
