ABS module has air in it?
are you doing the job single handed or with a helper?
Spent today replacing my front rotors with dba 4x4 survival series and bendix 4x4 pads and thought that while I was at it I would take the opportunity to change the brake fluid.
After a couple of hours leisurely doing the rotors and pads I commenced the fluid replacement and power bleeding with the nanocom only to find that my once reasonably firm brake pedal (had about 30mm of freeplay) was now quite spongy and maintained pressure on the pedal sent it slowly almost to the floor.
I re-bled the system over and over until I had used 6x 500ml bottles of fluid and found only a very slight improvement.
Took the vehicle out for a careful test drive and found the brakes seemed to perform ok .. but still the unsettling feeling of spongy brakes and what seems to be excessive pedal movement.
I have read in other posts that bleeding can be a drawn out process.. but is it normal to use this much fluid?Do I need to get a couple more bottles and continue in the hope of getting the brake pedal back to its original firmness?
....thanks.... Dave

Dave, I did mine recently, with a helper. Complete fluid change/flush and I used 1.5L .... and we went overboard .... yes, it's flushed, with new clean fluid coming thru ... but we pushed some extra thru on each corner just for good measure.
My pedal was fine (same) after the job was done .... 3L sounds a bit excessive .... and the spongy pedal means that you let some air into the system somewhere.

You need a friend, and/or a brake bleeding system which prevents air coming back into the callipers...
You've got air in the system...
No need to do the ABS with Nanocom unless you get air in the system (run out of fluid in the reservoir)
We use one of these in the workshop ... pressure & vacum testing 2 stroke crankcases ... and all sorts of other stuff.
