I paid someone to do mine here in Toowoomba. Not cheap, but definitely worth it. MR Automotive in Redcliffe are a good place to start. Give them a call and discuss your options. I would recommend getting the ability to have CDL engaged in high and low range. (There is an option to have it engage in low only.)

I have just priced this myself and definetely not cheap.

To rebuild the 2002 D2 transfer case (CDL Internals Missing) will cost around $2500 - $2700 depending on the condition of your current case.

Thats what I was quoted anyway.

Mine was $2200. Drive in/drive out. It now has a CDL lever beside the Hi/Lo lever. Very tidy.

Done in Toowoomba using the MR Automotive kit. They also put a steel sleeve on the output shaft to stop the oil weep.

Bought one from ashcroft transmissions in the u.k £245 and £60 postage - 4 days to get here...and just fitted it this weekend. Not difficult just a job for someone with small hands!!! Also allow "spare time" in the fitting out stage! All in though it should take you 3hrs. You could do it quicker but this allows for a slow plod without the risk of damaging other items! Also fittted some U.S spec cup holders and extra cabling at the same time, as taking out the centre consol isn't something you want to keep doing.... Take it nice and slow and check you can achieve in and out of diff modes before you rivet it all back up!

Fellas - I just had mine done at Techno British - D1 output houding with internals and push pull T-Piece lever out of the tranny tunnel for the CDL actuation. A switch to tell the computer it is in low range - dash mounted (another HDC switch).

Much cheaper than the above prices.

    Cheers
