    D2 tyre opinions wanted

Hi before i get spammed with "search and check the good oil" i already have and cant find what im looking for.

Ok so I have just ordered my 16" wheels for my d2 v8 and now have to find tyres. The two im tossing up between are the
    BFG T/A KM BFGoodrich Tires - Mud-Terrain T/AKM
    and the BFG T/A KM2 BFGoodrich Tires - Mud-Terrain T/AKM2.
I have already chosen size 255/70/16.
has anyone here had any experience with these tyres, as i want to know what they are like on road in wet/dry and off road wet/dry, noise and how they last k's wise.
I also do about 500k a week through the city and not much off road atm as im on 18s with road tyres but wanting to go off road as much as possible as the nearest tracks to me are only a k away and more 10k from home. Any help would be much appreciated, i am not worried about the noise to much but want to get at least 60k out of the tyres and get as much grip on/off road as possible.

    thanks in advance
    mick

I have the KM2's in a 235/85/16. I have found them to be a fantastic tyre on the road and even better off road. They are good in the wet. At least as good as the nearly bald tyres that were on it. They are so quiet I would get them over an all terrain any day. I can't help with the wear rate as I have only done around 3000 kays on them so far.

    Good 245/70x16
    Better 245/75x16 or 265/70x16
    Best 265/75x16
    Optional best 235/85x16

I've got the Silverstones on my D2. I have only done about 3,000kms but find them great, no noise and good handling.

Off road they are very capable as long as you adjust your pressures accordingly.

    Best = 285/75r16

Also i would definitely go the KM2's mate, they are the newer build and apparently out do the old ones and are the best performing offroad tyre for their class (4wd action magazine) I run silverstone MT-117 Sports in 285/75r16 atm and they perform amazingly offroad but are absolutely rubbish onroad, i would definitely buy KM2's if i could afford them!

Coopers don't have a great rep over here, apparently the side walls are **** house and wear out and get punctures!

BFG on the other hand, havn't heard any problems other than price!

LOL another tyre debate, so many of them these days. The silverstone AT's don't look too bad, same pattern pretty much as the BFG AT. But you can't beat mud terrains for grip offroad.
