I have the same model with manual and have just done a retrofit of the CDL. Give us some more info - does yours have the spiggot for CDL and have you just activated it...does yours have the CDL switch ont he output housing?

Hi Oscott, Yes it has the spiggot and it is connected to a home made leaver that runs to the drivers side body rail so i can turn the cdl on without climbing under the disco, i have used the cdl a few times driving some of the tracks with the gclro club, i dont know about the switch on the output housing.
Strangy i dont know about that switch, what does it look like and where is it located on the housing.

    Thanks,
    Jason.

Jason - it is on the front of the output housing. White connector block. There should be two - one for low range/high range and one for CDL light. Just crawl around the front of the transfer case output housing with a torch. For now just slip off the connector blocks spray some contact cleaner in them and slip them on and off a couple of times to clean and then back on again.

    Cheers

No light for High and low. The switch however is to tell the ECU that you are in Low for HDC and fuel map.

No, light is for CDL (1 x switch)

The second switch tells the ECU wether the box is in high/low range ... no dash light.

as per above matey. The second switch - hi/low feeds to the SLABS computer. Unless the computer knows that you have selected low range it will not allow you to use Hill Decent Control and lowers the urgency and aggressiveness of the traction control - but no light on dash. You know if it is working cause HDC will continue to chime when you hit the button even when in low range...normally just dirty contacts in that switch and easy to clean.

    Cheers

Ok guys just an update, ive climbed under and had a look around and found this-
male to female plug unpluged, closest one to the spiget.
blue/yellow & black wire going in a white plug and colours out are pink & white, this is cut and taped up, not sure what this is for?
Connected male to female plug, turned ignition on and the cdl tc and abs light comes on, no mater what id do they stay even what cdl is not activated, from car stop or start, do the other 2 wires have something to do with this.
How can i fix this to make it work like our d2a?

    Thanks,
    Jason.
