    20mm Lift?

Hi, my father has a D2 with SLS, which is stock. He wants to lift it 20mm when he replaces the shocks. If he puts in 20mm raised springs in the front will the rear SLS automaticaly lift 20mm to level in out, or do you need spacers?

For lousy 20mm you may get away with resetting the height using a nanocom.
Anyway, smarter folk will be along shortly.

    Why 20mm?

Does he realise its most likely sagged 20-30mm by its age...?

20mm is very little gain... Can you provide more reasoning behind the choice?

As for the SLS, for 20mm I can sort you out easily.

    Hiya vogue,

I replaced my D2 + SLS with new front King H/D springs and OME shocks that were +30mm however the front end ended up being 50mm higher even after putting on a bullbar.

Would have loved to go higher but that my limit with the roller door fully adjusted up.

As mentioned before springs sag so expect a bit more of a lift over all. As for the SLS for the 20mm you generally have 3 options: spacers, armature adjustment add-ons or pump up the SLS bags with a Nanacom.

I have done the later however am now looking at the armature adjustment. The spacers are illegal here in Qld.

My mum is quite short and any more would be hard for her to get in to. And if it has sagged then it may end up 40mm higher.
He is only going to be running standard size tyres and doing mild offroad touring.
What are the options for the rear?

I know what you mean.....The Mother-In-Law is vertically challenged as well so have a small fold up step under the seat for her for when we do family jaunts.

They're cool, enjoying camping and fishing 'n all

SLS rear spacers. Do a search, there has been heaps of stuff on lifting discos with airbags! Do you mean 2 inch lift? That's what most people do.

    I'm interested in a 20mm lift, not 50mm.

ARB do coils that lift the front approx 30mm.. (Medium Duty)...

Or Les Richmond Automotive - Andrew has a range of coils to lift the front and then just fit a Sensor rod to raise the rear a little.. (I have a couple if your interested)

if he changes to 245/70 tyres it will give the required lift, improve fuel economy slightly as well.
