I believe if one (leaking) goes down the other does likewise---something to do with the ride height sensor or self levelling system but I'm no expert.
Going down on refuelling stop, depending on length of stop may mean big leak .If they inflate & stay up while on the move it would suggest the compressor is probably still o.k. New bags are cheaper than a new compressor. Hopefully someone more expert can help.
Cheers

I like Nankas, went Rovacraft, OEM bags & can recommend them. DONT go Arnotts in the US, went through about 3-4 sets of bags, all leaked within months or exploded off the steel rim holding the rubber on.

Hey Karl here is another option that might be worth consideration if your quick;
Landrover discovery air suspension - eBay Shocks, Struts, Suspension, Steering, Car Parts, Accessories, Cars, Bikes, Boats. (end time 24-Apr-10 21:46:45 AEST)

I wouldn't bother with second hand bags but I would x 2 what BigD says - get them checked and if bags changed asap since you will cook the compressor otherwise...
I wouldn't usually either but these are the OEM bags, not aftermarket items and they are only two years old and selling for bugger all, that makes them a consideration. I brought a new set of Dunlop bags a few months ago and had them fitted, one blew out as soon as it was installed.
The Bagman replaced it without question and very promptly but I must admit I don't feel that confident in the Dunlop items given what happened and how they compare in looks next to the OEM bags. I will say at least there is a warrenty on new items which is not the case with second hand ones but if they sell in the end for around $200 they could be a bargain and worth the punt.
cheers,
Terry
I've just been thru the same thing ... one side only though. Been chasing it for a while. Sometimes it would stay up for weeks, then would just deflate ? Opening the rear door seemed to always make the rse end settle ... so after much checking turned out the rhs air spring had a leak that only opened up sometimes depending on how the disco was sitting (a D2a 2004). See http://www.aulro.com/afvb/discovery-...ml#post1218788 ....
In the interim a very kind AULRO member has loaned me an airspring.
I purchased 2x new Dunlop air springs from Paddock Spares UK for $108AUD ea, plus postage. To help offset the postage I also threw in a silicone turbo hose set, and an EGR kit, and the landed cost for the lot was $455AUD ($357 + $98 post)
I would have expected more than 5-6 years out of a set of air springs, but at those prices, who cares!
Airspings will be fitted up tomorrow.
