Mine works from 20 mt plus, and sometimes when I dont want it to. All I have to do is bend twist or climb up into the excavator and I can see flashing tail lights.

A couple of times I was sure it was locked and got back to find it unlocked, must of bumped it as I was walking away?

Then again might be due to the metal implants in my back acting as a conductor and transmitting the signal further than normal?

My garage is the same, I have gone upstairs to find it open, I have also been working in the garage and bent down setting off the door. The Disco however is quite the opposite, if they were the other way it would be good.

I don't like the sound of the head trick after what tapout said.
