How to remove the D2 luggage tie downs?

    Hi all,

I've had a quick look at my D2 luggage tie downs. I'd like to remove them to use the holes to bolt down custom made drawers.

How do you actually remove them? I thought I'd ask before I try and damage anything.

    Thanks,
    Randy

    1. Find a socket that fits.
    2. Unscrew.
It's that easy! The nuts underneath are welded to the floor so won't move.

hmmm....maybe I haven't had a close enough look. I couldn't see a bolt head near the ring (I assumed the ring was attached to it but didn't want to try turning the ring in case I'm wrong).

At the ring the carpet has a little cut out which you lift up to gain access to the bolt head.

    You'll find it.
