    Help

    Hi there - very new to all this and have a few Q's on changes to my 2003 Disco 2. Would seriously appreciate any advice I can get on the following;

    1. Recovery points for the front - Can anyone suggest a solution? Is fitting a recovery hook (e.g. AR bolted to the chassis a good idea or should I bite the bullet and get a full front bumper assembly complete with recovery points?

    Easiest solution is to fit two recovery plates to the chassis. Troutbecksales.com sell these as do others. They require no drilling. The ARB hooks may be made to fit, I'm not aware of anyone doing it, but if they have I'm sure they are on the forum.

    The main issue you face is if you still have the standard bumper and lower skirt it can be an issue using these (less so on the post 03MY models). Therefore a bullbar is advisable or with care a trim to the lower portion of the bumper.

    Either way the correct method is to use chassis mounted points and not the bullbar as this is mounted to crush cans on the Disco2
