    I EAT WEETBIX BUT!!!!!!

well after heading to action 4wd show here in perth yesterday it gave me a chance to see if my "o" ring had stopped the oil leaking from my hub. On arrival home the answer is no. Well this morning with new hub in hand I decided to change the hubs over (spent morning looking for a bar to help with leverage), only to discover that it looks like the stake nut had moved. so anyway went about putting the 32mm socket on and a 400mm long breaker. I cracked it and was REAL easy. NOT GOOD
So my question is could it be leaking because the stake nut was loose(probably) also the 3 amigos are on and the park brake light so I suspect this wheel and sensor is the culprit.

I've driven about 1500km with hub leaking so most of the grease will probably be washed out and i will replace hub with new one as you can't repack from my understanding.

    Should I replace hub?
Why/how did this stake nut come loose with apparently 490Nm(360lbf.ft) of torque?

lucky it didn't happen on the gibb river road that I've just completed could've been expensive trip home.

its a reused stake nut, its a stake nut that wasnt staked properly.

    take your pick.
