    ABS solenoids

    Hi all.

    Have been told by my local LR dealer who is normally pretty good that my 3 amigos are due to the solinoids in the main unit not the sensors or shuttle valves has any one else had this prob?
    I say normally pretty good as it has been 8 weeks now since they were getting me a price to fix it. Keep getting told cant get price due to problem with LR on line.
    Am thinking of just getting a whole new unit online myself then having it installed.

    Never heard of that before, normally it's the shuttle valve that goes, it will show a fault on diagnostic gear stating it's the shuttle valve.

    The solenoids do go. they are a coil. The Part number is SWO500040 this will be a solenoid block and shuttle valve swithes

    Thankyou all for your input I really appreciate it. I did try the search and found lots on shuttle valves and wheel sensors but nothing on a problem specifically with the solenoids. Thanks so much woko I will contact my local dealer as they couldn't even get back to me with a part number.
