Went out bush for the weekend, Tues arvo decided to give the disco a clean ignition on to acc[I hope] could hear the a/c fan radio on etc..... well a couple of hrs later -----battery flat as a tac---I always thought these big N7 80 amp batteries could handle a bit of discharge. Well thinking the worst I put the batt on charge overnight and for the next morning still showing a draw of a couple of amps. Took the batt to a local garage to test all OK! All seems well. Has anyone had a similar experience? Will try to get the alt. checked soon to. By the way its an 02 td5 disco.

If the battery tested fine and the Alt is charging I'd be looking at the starter soliniod.
Turn key and not a thing, maybe just a click if your lucky.
Mine filled with crud and just stoped working with no warning.
I know of one more that is playing up now that it's colder(in Vic.).

Just a thought.
