Thanks. I have AutoCAD (and Inventor and Illustrator and ...) so I plan to draw the parts up myself. Just haven't had time yet.

Nice to see the finished product, nice bit of work I must say.

If you do manage to get some "kits" into production and want a UK "supplier", count me in for that. I think they would go like hotcakes at the right money and a little advertising on my website wont do any harm.

I will try to get back onto this little project soon. I've been far too busy.

I am on holidays now so I'll try to price up a kit and see whether it will be worth producing.

I have spoken to a cable supplier however I am not happy with what they are able to produce ... I have another that I might call tomorrow.

I'm still trying to find a cable supplier that can make a cable with a smaller and neater end than the one I used. At this stage all I have found is that they all use similar parts to make the cables and none are as compact as I would like. Might just have to go with the bulky ones. I can get the same cables as I used (Hyundai) for the same price as a custom one. The advantage with the Hyundai ones is that they have a rubber bush in the retaining flange for the outer cable.

I've contacted Shape Cut to do cut the pieces for me to weld together. I just have to finish my CAD drawings to send to them for a quote.

Hopefully I'll get back to it soon.

I know there's an issue using the mechanical linkage (early) type system as the level is usually mounted on the box rather then the body and transmits vibration something chronic. But can the early lever be used and adapted to a cable for the CDL and still use the original D2 H/L mechanism and be adapted to mount to the body?
