This probably wont help but .... mine's green too!
..... and an un-chipped manual. I tow my Jayco (about 1.3t loaded) with it without too many issues. Although, getting started on any slope and then getting into 2nd is tricky, but do-able. Once she's on the go ... there's no problems.
Occasionally, I start off in low range.
I have towed my 7.4 m glider trailer across the Nullabour several times. The disco loves it and always seems to run even better after the trip. I have a manual and even towing I have got some incredible fuel economy. :)
