Fitting new t/fer case with cdl

    High all,
I am fitting a new t/fer case in my disco 2. My original case was starting to leak oil badly and as it was one of the few with no cdl I have decided to fit a new case. I have sourced one from British and Jag spares in Adelaide for around $1600 delivered to Perth. It comes with a complete kit to actuate the cdl using genuine linkages. They tell me the disco it came from had done only 40,000ks. What should I look for to make sure its not already badly worn.

I will have a go at fitting it myself once I get the vehicle back from the panelbeaters (hail damage) where its getting a complete respray.
