    front bumper disco2

    This may be a foolish question, but ------ is there a steel replacement for front bumber bar on a Disco2 ? I don't necessarily want to go to the extra weight and price of a bullbar, considering any country driving I do will be daylight hours.[ I spent my early years on properties in central QLD., Dad had an Austin, no bullbar, drove it often, luckily no problem.] Cheers

    No only bullbars as mentioned above, you could try ECB they might make an alloy bullbar.

    i have an ECB alloy bar on my D2 its reasonably light weight and very strong. was quite well priced compared to steel bars at the time as well. not sure if they still do them now though.

    If you wait till the LR Expo in September, I'll bet they will have them on special, I remember at last years Expo they had the rear bars for $650.

    From memory they were around the $700 mark, don't quote me though, at the moment they are on special in the Sydney store.

    Yep - they still do them.

    I've had mine for a while now, but a mate purchased one recently. I don't know about where you are, but Opposite Lock are the local agent for them here.
