    Cool Resetting Computer

    Can someone tell me the sequence of actions needed to reset the computer in my Disco 2 please? (TD5 Auto)

    Oh nothing really. It's just that after a couple of years with the 3 Amigos coming and going intermittently, they now stay on all the time. I'm fully conversant with this problem and the solutions, but I thought that maybe I could buy a little more time. I've normally just taken the key out for a few minutes in the past but that's not working anymore. I've also done the front & rear pads a week ago....

    I'm not certain there IS a way to reset the SLABS ECU in a D2 without computer interface.

    Get yourself a Nanocom or Faultmate, invaluable accessories with these later vehicles in my opinion.

    what pads did you use and did they squeel at all?

    The D2 counts amigos,,
    after a certain number --- you cant reset it without plugging something in
    "How long since you've visited The Good Oil?"

    I used genuine on the front and after-market on the rear. No squeals yet. After the amigos were reset on the computer they came back the next day... *sob*.....
