    Engine oil in induction side of TD5 after intercooler.

    G'day all.
    Have just noticed oil in the inlet of where the EGR valve used to be. How much is normal? What can be done to prevent this?

    Its normal Robbo.
    Yes it can be prevented.
    Mine is now clean after fitting a filter system.Search Pro Vent.
    It filters the HARMFUL oil mist out of the crankcase gasses and drops the oil into the sump.EASY to setup.

    This is why part of the maintenance schedule is to clean out the intercooler
