....further more, if you are going for a more aggressive disc AND pad, then you want them to get hot. No heat, no brakes...you also want them to cool faster when not used.
The gas dissipation under normal braking conditions is minuscule rendering the grooves......nice to look at.
If, however, you intend on hitting 220 down the straight of EC and taking that first left at 170, then you will be glad your slots not only look good, but serve a purpose
