discovery oil leak to power steering pump?

yes it is still making the dreadful noise, groaning like a hoar but I cant find the noise source?;)

The metal bit of my PS low pressure pipe has chafed through just like Zuke described and I have to replace it soon.
If it is low pressure, why the complex, expensive and leak prone assembly of tubing and pipe? Why not just a $5 bit of suitable tubing?
