Hi Guys,
been trawling the Good Oil re tyres etc, and having thoughts about 265/75 R16's vs 235/85 R16s. Read both arguments about pros and cons.
I reckon i can fit 265/75s on and do a suspension lift later, but can i fit the 235/85's without a lift? Vehicle is a Disco 2a 2003.
Any advice most welcome. Looking at Dick Cepek FCII's, but they seem to only be in the 265s. Who does a good 235?
I reckon i'll need to invert wheel carrier as well. Anyone know of any issues with this?
Also if anyone has installed the Suspension Stuff mate's rates kit has any advice on issues and difficulty i'd appreciate some advice.
Thanks for all the advice
Paul
The 265/75s will rub on the front radius arm, regardless of the lift you get/have, the 235/85s won't.
I have BFG KM2 235/85s, the best mud tyre I have had, super quiet, great grip on and off road, good price.
Baz.
Cheers Baz.

The 5 rims in my shed are 265-75-16 FC-IIs
Still 70% tread but doubt I'll ever use them again![]()
