Just had the radio out. There are no globes, just LEDs soldered into the circuit board...bugger!

Are you sure that they are LEDs and not the 3mm globes soldered to the PCB? I have some pictures of the globes that I replaced in my radio here: Entering Security code on Eurovox radio in D2

Approx $7 from dealer, may find alternatives from Repco etc.
It is a small fitting that is 1/4 turn to do/undo.
2 pieces of stiff card about the size of a credit card pushed in top and bottom will release the clips holding the clock in place, then just wriggle it out.

Hi, I tried this and can not get it to go in on top or bottom. What am I doing wrong here? Anyone please

    Thanks Steve

It takes a bit of fiddling, you have to get the cards in quite deep..
I found the if you use a credit card, insert it as if you're at the ATM, so long ways right over to one side, top And bottom.
Then, gently pull back. This should have released the clips on that side, and the side should pop out a bit.
Repeat on the other side and it should slide right out.

Thanks DM I managed to get them in but only the right side is releasing. Also does the door lock switch come out as well or just the clock

    No dramas, happy to help.
I've pulled more bits out of my car in the super cheap auto car park than anywhere else
