    Question Digital Clock in D2

I was just wondering if the digital clock in the Discovery 2 is supose to have a backlight at night time. Or are you just not mean't to see the time when it's dark and your dashlights are on ?

    digital clock light

As mentioned yes it does have a light.
Approx $7 from dealer, may find alternatives from Repco etc.
It is a small fitting that is 1/4 turn to do/undo.
2 pieces of stiff card about the size of a credit card pushed in top and bottom will release the clips holding the clock in place, then just wriggle it out.

    newlandyowner radio

Radio removal is a bit more involved,One model has holes on the side of the casing which can be released by using 2-3mm round rod pushed in to release clips, the other model uses a thin pressed metal key which is inserted to do the same job.
I have seen posts on here about this so hopefully someone will reply.
I am not sure whether the radio illumination is by globes or by LEDS soldered on the board.
