Thread: Window motor query '92 D2

When the drivers window failed to close, I stripped the door and motor and found that the plastic gear that the steel worm engages is a bit worn and that one of the plastic blocks in one of the tracks has disintegrated. Please advise:
1. Where might I get a new plastic gear?
2. Assuming that the gear is not a serviced part (and how would I get the old one out anyway?), where might I get a new gearbox? The old one says "Jideco" on it.
3. Where might I get a new guide block?
4. Assuming the guide block is not a serviced part, what do bodgers use instead?
