    Side Marker lights

Just noticed a side marker light in the top corner of the front blinker. Its only on the drivers side, but that probably means the left one is blown.
So does any one else have these lights ? Or is it something that can be turned on and off with the Nanocom for differant markets. They only come one with the lights and don't flash with the blinkers.

the small 2.2W lights behind the indicator lense are standard on all d2's and come on with side or headlights. To replace the bulb, lift the bonnet and unclip the cover (one clip each side). Then reach down and rotate the bulb holder 1/2 turn and pull out. You can then slide the bulb out of the holder.

You have to remove the indicator / blinker assy to replace the side marker bulbs. These are one of the reasons I have not updated the headlights to the facelift ones as I really like the orange side markers, think they look cool !!

UP is correct, my apologies. Also, the Owners Handbook on pg 162 also states these are 5W, which contradicts the 2.2W it states in section 4.151 of the Electrical Library.

I fitted a 5W when replacing one a couple of years back.

I can't believe I haven't noticed them in the three years I've owned it.
    Thanks for the replies.

I always liked the side lamps in the blinkers,,

but for some reason the D2a's didnt need them, so it must have been asthetics not (A)DR's
