Hi guys. I know in the past I've said Discoveries are plastic Range Rovers, but the RRC is gone and I now have a D2 and I am in need of your advice. So to quote Danny Devito in Jewel of the Nile - "I'm one of us now."
I have a 2003 HSE TD5. So it has a tape deck with a CD stacker under the drivers seat, and a roof mounted DVD player.
I've had the car for over a week, but it arrived an hour before I had to leave home (holiday), and I only got back this morning - so it's all new. I bought it from a wholesaler interstate, so I can't even ask the previous owner.
I've tried putting a DVD in the CD changer, but it reads 'No Disc' on the radio and nothing appears on the screen. Pressing most keys on the remote gives me an 'Invalid Key' response on the screen.
The ICE (In Car Entertainment) book that came with the car pictures a DVD head unit (like a CD player), but I can't find it.
So is it missing? Is it hidden? Does the CD changer do the job?
