G'day everyone.
Quick question here. I have a 2003 V8 discovery and not sure if it is 4.0 or 4.6 L. The engine number does not seem to tell me unless it is in code?? Does anyone know how to tell the difference easily?? thanks for your time.![]()

If you have the books, the eng no (found on the block left side of engine) should match with that written in the book. As should the VIN.
Hello again. For those of you interested there is a web site Clifton Scientific Text Services, the Netherlands that can do a calculation on your VIN# and give you all the info you need to know about the code.
