Thread: D2 better reception 4 stereo

hi all, trying to get better reception out of my new stereo fitted to the D2. Its an aftermarket brand so should work well. Notice under carpark parking reception becomes poor and crakles. Its an above ground carpark with sides open but think it maybe the reception aerial built into the side glass. Would i get better reception with a smaller aerial mounted to the bullbar particularly at carparks, tunnels etc then relying on the built in glass aerial. cheers

I only have issues with the glass antenna in carparks,tunnels (M2, Lane Cove,Harbour) have repeaters and with the std radio it's fine and with a kenwood it's good and with a digital receiver plugged in-line it also works well.
