It'll be fine, but avoid driving it hard, as more warpage means more machining $$. I would try and do it before the 10,000km is up though :0

Hi all
I am fairly certain that I have the Td5 broken exhaust stud/warped manifold problem from my visual inspections and audible symptoms.
My question is, apart from the rather irritating whistling, am I safe to drive the Disco for the time being?
I generally do my own servicing and have recently done a minor service at 240,000kms. If I could safely drive the bus through to 250,000 I would get my local mechanic to fix the problem, along with having a more thorough service done. But if I am only likely to cause more problems by delaying then I'll have to move more quickly.
Any thoughts would be much appreciated.
Cheers - David

The Isuzu 110. Solid and as dependable as a rock, coming soon with auto box😊
The Range Rover L322 4.4.TTDV8 ....probably won't bother with the remap..😈
drive it hard enough for long enough and it can erode the ally of the head. keep the right boot light and you should be ok but as per JC's advice fixing sooner rather than later is the best bet.
