The issue with Raids is their size. Large diameter body at full flex with extended travel they contact the coils. Just though L8 could provide some info to make purchase at e-shocks easier.

Are these in the same league as the Bilstein 7100 Shocks?

We get plenty of big corrugations from road trains in the NT so I'll be able to really test the Billies. At this stage I can tell you they are fantastic around town.

As far as I am aware, they won't fade at all. So if I take a run out to Gunn Point, see how they go over 30km or so of corrugations, they should be the same any other time.

My next suspension change will be removing the rear springs and refitting air bags.

The only downside I can see with these 7100 shocks at the moment is what to do with the external reservoir. There are enough options of what to do with the rose joints.

If you aren't happy with them then you probably chose the wrong valving for you use. Not that I have researched it yet but that to can be fixed by getting them rebuilt.

You can choose a longer body if you want more travel.

    Happy Days.

Be careful of the natives that sleep on the roads because the tar stays hot at night.

Wasn't happy with the koni's potentially rubbing plus got them at "the right price" and made a profit. The Fox's were great but also had great profit potential. The Terrafirmas as said are great value, get good write ups. L8 are using them in their P38 with a heap of flex and without issue and are cheap. Not in the same league, not even playing the same game really but there is a better option from Bilsteins as well.

Hitting the front coils? My front shocks run in eas turrets so I won't have this problem. My only problem with getting shocks from eshocks is I want pin/pin for the front and eshocks can't seem to help me.

Well that can be valving, which you chioose when you order the 7100 shock or the attachment type which there is also a few options now.

I'm a little concerned the shafts will get damaged and this is the only place I can see a possible leak. I'm going to fit some type of guard to the rears at least.

    Happy Days.

Yeah that's a good idea Joel. I will work out how I can make these things fit, pin/eye converters is all I can see for now. Does the bottom rose joint unscrew? Is the top eye a bush or rose joint as well, bit hard to see in the pic.
