The spacers come with the shocks (in the box) so you only need the reducers :)
I have 360/80 rear and 275/78 front and can not get rid of the fronts quick enough :eek: way under damped for a D2 with barwork and winch... And will pitch UP due to the rear mass of tanks, bumper, draws etc...
Threw in my slightly shorter 360s in the front and its very, very balanced and poised...
Next will be rears to front (I have 28" open) and new 400/100 rears :cool:
Good stuff, thanks for this Mike, and my apologies for my previous advice! 360/80 works in the front. :eek: Thats really good then and the GU rear patrol shock is a cheaper option in that case - which is the front shock I run with 400/100 in the rear.
Did the reducers not come with the shocks, but the spacers did? I had the reducers come with mine but had to make the spacers. :confused:
Can you explain the GU Patrol shock story. I recall you mentioning it previously, and I reread that, but am unclear. Are you suggesting as an alternative to the Bilsteins to get GU Patrol shocks? Are they also remote reservoir setup?Quote:

By design they don't fade - they work or they're broken and if they get hot the pressure increases in them rather than fading. Any update on how these bilstein a are travelling a few years on?
I am about to put in 2" spring lift in 2001 D2 and these sound just the ticket.
