    I can't quite remember as I had it done 4 years ago. I think from memory about $350 fitted. For this they installed my uhf into the pod but didn'r run the wiring/aerial which wasn't value for money for me so I did myself. I bought the more expensive pod which has a recessed top where you can put maps pens etc. The pod attaches to the dash via the pencil recess on the dash so you can remove the pod, replace the rubber insert and noone would be the wiser.

    I fitted my remote microphone model Uniden behind the drop down cover around the steering column & then only had to worry about the microphone.

    Mine is between the visors, doesn't interfere with anything, and well out the way. Pretty handy I reckon. Crap photo below

    Have attached photo of dash pod. Its taken from driver's seat. You can get it without the recess (its cheaper), but its good for pens, etc.

    Hi Sharkee,mines also in the roof console,but I bought a mike extension lead (pretty cheap if I remember!) to mount the mike down on the side of the centre console.A bit more stuffing around but gets it out of the way,cheers Gregg

    Thanks for the pics and ideas guy I reckon the roof console is the go but gee Mal I love that dash pod but a probably a bit out of my price range I think. My better half would'nt allow me to spend that sort of bucks lol. Looks damn good though mate I'm envious
