Thanks for the warnings Wardy - I might look into doing the same as I didnt realise it's so easy to drown this ECU  Also I've just installed an ARB Compressor under the drivers seat so will look at raising the relay for this which is currenty at floor level. Will post some pics of this on a separatre thread.

Answer to your question is yes
First step is to ensure your ECU board has a Mil Spec “Conformal” coating, These are applied by either dipping, brushing or spraying. Variety of materials are used such as acrylics, urethanes, silicones etc as well as different curing methods. Harsh environment specs for conformal coatings include military spec MIL-I-46058-C. Second step is to provide a robust and waterproof housing (inc waterproof plug connectors) asuming it is going to get wet at or above any point within the vehicle that you can practicaly raise it to.
Infortunately D2 ECU’s don’t appear to have as good a coating and housing protection as D1 ECU’s and others. The guys at Lucky 8 Offroad provide a good solution. Crank up your sound and check out their vid.

Hi Simon, glad to help out as everyone is on here.
Your ARB compressor will be fine if it gets wet, they will actually work underwater as long as you have a snorkel on the air intake. Mine was located on the chassis rail (where your SLS compressor is) with the air intake up in the air intake box after the filter, this gave it access to the air from the engine snorkel (ironically, it was going fine whilst the auto's ECU drowned LOL).
In your case, I'd just run a bit of 12mm (I think) plastic tubing up as high as you can, either under the seat, or better still, up into the B pillar althought the latter might require a little mod to the interior trim.
I'll be locating my compressor back under the car as I don't have SLS on this Disco either.
