    D2 Cubby Box Lid

    I have been eyeing one of these off for a while, but apart from the fact that finding one in "Tundra" to match the D2a interior is a lesson in futility, the asking prices of around $185-$265AUD + postage were way beyond being justifiable

    Since extra nooks & cranny's in a D2 are few, Me & Mrs Fluids are always fighting over who's "stuff" is going into the cubby box ... well, no more! Reading a Defender thread on A/C fitting, someone posted a link to the Land Rover Australia online parts site HOME - Landrover Parts and I noticed they had one of these in Dark Smokestone (Grey) and about 6 in Beige (Cream) ..... for $54.00 AUD + postage !!

    So, grey it is! I also ordered 2x centre console cup holders from the UK in Dark Smokestone to match. Finding interior accessories in Tundra AT an affordable price is the challenge ... IF you can find them.


    So here's some pic's ...







    Now Mrs Fluids has the top section, and it holds the iPhone & oversize purse quiet well

    It's a quick simple changeover.

    Mine haven't arrived yet, but yes, they come as a pair (the smokestone ones) and include all the mounting gear required.

    Quick & simple installation.

    Thanks for the tip - I've grabbed 1 as we (SWMBO) and self are always filling the centre console.

    Good price for the item but bloody expensive postage though ($48 from Sydney to Canberra via Aus Post!)

    wHATS THE PART ##????????? Can only find the centre console general bits, not the double lid!!!
