Yep, just checked owners manual (D2a). "Code letter is stamped on the key socket." Needed if replacement components required.

Having almost broken my wrist with the bloody lock nut socket slipping off of an over tightened (by the tyre man) lock nut, add to this the fact that they are made of cheese.
I ****ed them all off and bought 2 standard alloy wheel nuts (got 2 off the spare). Now only have the lock nuts on the spare.
I know it doesn't solve your immediate problem, but believe me, I'd use ANYTHING to get the lock nuts off then throw them in the bin and just get some normal nuts to replace them.
Wardy1, dont use the spare wheel nuts (nuts from the spare!) I think they are shorter and should not be used for the road wheels. Note the difference in the dimple, flat head=road wheel nut; convex=spare wheel nut; concave=locknut. Its in the handbook, and I put something on the forum a year or so ago about it (as did lots of other AULRO's). Change asap to real wheel nuts
Thanks Simon, I had already replaced the ones on the spare with 'real' wheel nuts as I had discovered that the originals are a 'blind' nut.
Thanks for the warning though it is appreciated and probably refreshes the warning to others
