    Hey Guys,
My td5 has had a hissey fit. I fitted an aux battery tray today ( bought from arb). Now she won't start. Did not disconnect anything electrically. Removed the horn from it's mountining bracket and fixed it to the battery tray as per the instructions. Have manually entered the EKA code to de-mobilize the alarm ( successfully as per manual ) but now when I try to start it the hazard lights start flashing. The only way to get the hazard lights to stop flashing is to disconnect the battery. The key will unlock and lock the doors as normal but the engine turns over but will not start. Local RACQ has suggested I try spare key ( didn't solve problem either ) he suggested car wasn't accepting key.
Any suggestions or help would be gratefully appreciated. Would like to be able to go and play with her over the weekend .
Cheers and a happy new year ,
    Len

you may have knocked the inertia switch,is it a D2,if so it is near where the tray is fitted,to reset i think you push the top of it down, maybe look in the manual.

len, you have somehow triggered the 'crash switch' on the firewall. it is located near the battery tray you have just installed. it is a rubber covered switch, just push down the top and you will hear a click and you will be good to go.

Tilt switch, AKA inertia switch. Find the big rubber button switch on the passenger side firewall under the bonnet, apply finger pressure and feel a 'click' to reset the switch.
