    Replacing RH External Mirror Lens

Happy New Year to the Forum.
I have managed to break the lens in RH mirror. I have ordered a new one from Rimmers in The UK - looks like a good price.
I would appreciate some tips and advice as to the procedure to fit the replacement.
    Many thanks.

Happy New Year to you too.

Pity about the mirror. I have not had to do that but I am sure someone will be able to let you know how to do it.

I assume you do not have the repair manual on CD?
    Cheers, Dale

Click on the 'Shop' link in the toolbar across the top of the page (between'Markets' and 'Chat').

That will take you to Incisor's website (Dave is the Forum Administrator) and you can buy the CD you require there. It's a very useful tool to have.

I did mine last year. I put the inner (closest to car) clips in first and then pushed in the outer.
take note of where the clips are and the supporting plastic. Just dont push it in a way that flexes the glass.

    cheers
