    tunit

I used to install Tunit chips, and was happy with the result, I did a few TD5's with a good result, I do remember that the TD5 was quite sensitive in the settings and would tend to "Jerk" or "Hunt" if the settings were not quite right ! But there were plenty of recomended settings for the TD5 to prevent that from happening.

I have just got myself a TD5 Disco and will be getting hold of one myself in the next little while and more than happy to let you know the results !
    Just shoot me a PM.

Also consider the offerings from Td5inside via disco_thrasher on here (he is very local to you, and also Tombie on here if you have a post 2002 car who can both offer reflashes of your ecu.

I have used them in the past...

Would never use one (a plug in box) again while I have the option of getting an ecu re-flash. Much better, more driveable results and a propwer increase in available torque, rather than simply shooting more fuel into the pots.

    Hello woody64,
Forget the Tunit chip if you're headed in that direction for extra power. Try DTUK for a plug in chip with adjustments. I got mine for around $535 delivered to my front door.
These things are great. It is exactly the same as the DP Power chip(comes out of the same factory in Germany, just with different packaging) and I don't have shares in the company.
Had mine in. Any 'hunting' issues can be addressed with adjustment of the chip(with mine I just had to increase the power output of the chip).
They are cheap bolt on extra power and the people that bag these things are vendors who want your business(to rechip or reflash your ECU) instead of the chip companies. Yes they are good and if they were as bad as what some vendors say, then the chip companies would be out of business.
The chip companies also give good after sales service unlike some vendors that don't reply to sales enquieries for a week(with lame excuses) or more....... or don't reply at all.

    Cheers,

    Jason
