Have you tried raisngs both the rears then the fronts and rotating the wheels by hand to check for bearing rumble to determin if its in the wheels and/or diff.

As for the hubs, I believe they are sold as a unit and include the wheel speed sensor+cable. However I have also read somewhere on AULRO they can be dismantled and refurbished.

have replaced the uni's with greasable ones apart from the one that I didn't change as this was tight and greasable. so I think that is ok.

I'll do a search tonight about how to reco the front hubs. not liking the $500 for new hubs.

I'll clean up the shed and jack up both ends to check. I have a fresh diff to go in the back so that might fix it.

Do I need any special tools for a transfer case rebuild?

thrust washers in the center diff when thay go it willmake a low down rumbel noise this is what heppend to my t/case not a bad job to do but you will need help to get the case in and out pull the case from the box thatway you can leave thegear box where it is

Is this is part of a transfer case rebuild Kit? I was thinking about getting this one.
