    Hi. You can only cross the lines if you remove them at the compressor / solenoid end. I think he has left te Compressor alone.
    Even if you did manage this, it shouldnt make bags go bang, but you will find briefly the vehicle going up and down because of conflicting signals from the sensors until the SLABS ECU recognises the disparity, logs a a fault and shuts down the SLS. It will do this before the compressor has the chance to get cranky and time out.

    Jack up the suspension a bit more and it bursts into life - reinstall the compressor - all now looks good. Add wheels - remove jack stands - and start her up again..... BANG!

    If you have the 30mm spacers attached to the sensors for the 2" lift and cross inflate a bag? . When I stuffed up it was not looking good. But I did shut things off, so I never found out if it was possible.don't know if the slabs would signal off, it's receiving wrong info and trying to correct, into the wrong bag.

    Received my latest set of Trelleborg Pheuoride(?) airbags from Paddocks the other day,, took longer to set up than to replace the bag. about 20 mins from walking out the back door to walking back in again,,

    go to coil?!?

    Did you have to stop and down a couple of cold ones between the back door & the car?

    Had the usual fight with the stupid lock nut( i will not buy anything off the local private LR workshop)

    you take the wheels off to do the airbags ??

    maybe i am just plain lazy, but i just jacked her up and changed em with wheels still on

    I had trouble with a batch of bags about 2 years ago & became a pro & changing them over too with out taking the wheels off as well!!
