    auto kick-down "clunk"

    Hello All,

i have had my 04 TD5 auto for 3 weeks now and love it! While driving on the highway today I put the foot to the floor to overtake and noticed a "shudder" or clunk as it kicked down. Could this be the front shaft? Any ideas. It hasn't done it before and i've "upped" it quite a number of times.

    Matt.

Have a look at the rubber union? on the rear shaft near the diff and also check the front uni.
