    Loose wires

I was inspecting a TD5 today and lying with my head in under the driver's door I noticed 2 wires running back from the front with connectors just inside the chassis rail that weren't connected to anything.

I read the other thread that talked about transmission temp that was on the V8 but not the TD5, but it sounds like those wires were out of the LH rear of the box...

Any ideas? I forgot to take a photo.

    Cheers

    There's still time.
A photo would be handy in this case.

Have a look inside the conectors.
If it looks clean start looking for a partner, if it's as dirty inside as out don't stress.

I can think of 6 conectors on mine not hooked up, one harness for multiple countries and
    options.
A few spare plugs tied up wont hurt.
    Cheers, Kyle

The wires and plug under the drivers door are for an ACE system sensor, when fitted.

Thanks - that makes sense. The one I was looking at did not have ACE, but I looked at another one today with ACE and no loose wires were present.
