HELP! Central locking!! 2000 D2
HELP I need your advice PLEASE. My 2000mdl D2 left front door lock is not working. It will lock (button goes down) with remote but will not open (button wont come up) with remote or with key. I have taken the door trim off and sprayed the hell out of the hole area around it with lubricant. I'm dumbfounded on this, Is it (Actuator) stuffed or am I missing something else here. If it buggered how do they come out as there does'nt seem to be any bolts/screws that I could see holding it. I need to get this working asap. Any help/advice appreciated
Thanks Steve
P.S Anyone got a spare they could sell me?

Pretty much a common D2 problem. Door latch assembly is integral with the actuator, needs to be replaced as a unit. The actual door frame/ window frame needs to be undone and slid upward to allow the latch to be removed, they are not expensive anymore at around $180 to $200.
About an hour of pain and all will be OK again

Thanks Andrew and Justin for replies much appreciated. I thought this might have been the case but I guess I was hoping for something simpler. I certainly did'nt know it was a part of the latch. I did do a search but my puter is playing up and would'nt load it so I appologies for asking what has already been asked. Thanks so much guys
Cheers Steve
