    EngineSaver issue

    Hey guys.
Fitted the EngineSaver kit last weekend and I'm pretty happy with it.
But it's weeping red coolant gloop around the screw-in bit.
It's as tight as I can get it, without trashing the thread I reckon.

Anybody else had a similar issue?
Is there a way/trick/knack to stop the leak?

Cheers in advance for any advice.

Shouldn't leak but maybe try some Liquid thread tape on it.

Assuming it's leaking from where the sensor screws into the plug?

Sent from my backyard TeePee using smoke signals.

Mine is dry... Yeah, the plumbing thread tape is a great idea. If that fails, maybe ty a bit of silicon.

    Only liquid thread tape.

Ptfe tape is not a good product...

Also possible it is the insert in the top hose leaking, they ahve a habit of coming loose inside the hose after undoing and doing up the fitting sometimes.

I haven't had any of the probes themselves leak around them yet.
