Ouch Krayzie Keegs...I had another look and the disturbance in the reservoir is directly over the top of the return hose from the throttle body - so i'm assuming everything is ok, also noticed the power steering reservoir does the same thing.

    Fingers crossed...

I have the swirling on the surface of the fluid. There's the line from the top of the iinlet manifold that will return fluid under pressure from there. This flow is what causes it.

the swirling is normal and if the fluid level is a little low (and some of them will sit about an inch below the cold fluid level no matter what you do with regards to topping it up) then the swirling causes the frothing I was talking about earlier.

nothing to worry about unless the cold fluid level changes.

I strongly suggest that you should put a paint mark pen on the outside of the tank for an easy visual reference when cold. If you cant see the coolant through the tank (rock the vehicle by the bumper/barwork to make sure) then its time to change the tank.

If you are into boating, it's like the tell tale water jet on an outboard motor, it shows you the water pump is working, if there was no movement in that tank you have a problem.
