The report summary says:

Check for source of FUEL LEAK. Fuel is at a SIGNIFICANT LEVEL. Fuel dilution may be caused by component
faults related to injectors, ignition/timing or excessive blow-by. Additional causes include heavy throttle
application, engine lugging, frequent short trips, and excessive idling. LUBRICANT and FILTER CHANGE is
suggested if not done at sampling time. FUEL DILUTION has caused viscosity to decrease moderately; FUEL
DILUTION reduces the viscosity of the lubricant which decreases FILM STRENGTH and LUBRICITY and may lead

sources can be abrasives (dirt, Alumina Silica), seals and gasket material, lube additive or lube supplement,
and/or environmental contaminant. Resample at half interval;

This may be the crux as the Disco is being used as a daily runaround

Additional causes include heavy throttle application, engine lugging, short trips, and excessive idling.

I also notice the service book says to do 5000km oil changes for around town use..

Interesting that they are picking up silica but not engine wear. Could this be because of the centrifuge, but if the centrifuge is removing wear particles, shouldn't it also be removing silica or does silica have properties which dont allow it to be spun out.

Like I said earlier the head and gasket has just been done. They say the sealant will show up and take a few oil changes to settle down. I'm happy with that.. :)
