Disco TD5 redline RPM
Can anyone tell me what the redline RPM point is on a TD5? There is nothing marked on the tachometer indicating it. Does it vary depending on the conditions (e.g. the Ford Falcon XR6 Turbo, the redline varies depending on engine temperature and numerous other sensors, as such it is not marked on the guage)?

No point revving it past 3500rpm. Never had the need and at the moment it is stock. Regards

The max engine RPM would be governed by the ECU. If you have a look at the power and torque curve for a TD5 there is no point in revving the fanger out of them anyway.
I thought that they were governed at about 4500rpm but here is another Thread on it.

Cheers. Was hoping it was around there otherwise it meant the engine had fueling issues (I'm currently doing some fault finding in regards to my power loss on hills issue)...
